Dalton is located on the intersection of County Highway 35 and County Highway 82, just off of Interstate 94 in Ottertail County. Dalton is not legally considered a city by the Federal Census. It is the Village of Dalton. Dalton considers itself a mostly Norwegian community steeped in church and family. Pictured is the Dalton Community Center the weekend of the Threshermen's Annual Show.

Points of Interest:

Dalton hosts the Lake Region Pioneer Threshermen's Association annual show the weekend after Labor Day. It runs Thursday through Sunday, ending in an community church service at the Dalton Community Center.

Dalton also holds its annual "SummerFest Days" the final weekend in June that includes a softball tournament, citywide rummage sale and street dance.

The Central Lakes Trail also passes through Dalton, It is a hiking/biking trail that is 55 miles long and runs from the SE edge of Fergus Falls to Osakis, MN. The path is the old Burlington Northern Railroad corridor that used to run through Dalton.
